HOW RECLAIMING ME IS DIFFERENT

Your culture and identity are part of your story

Your culture, faith, family and community can all be important parts of who you are. Reclaiming Me recognises their place in your healing and wellbeing.

Reclaiming Me was developed with particular awareness of the experiences of women from Global Majority communities, including Black, Asian and other minoritised ethnic backgrounds.

The programme considers culture, race, faith, migration experiences, family expectations and community experiences, and how these can shape healing and support.

Rooted in culture, identity and community

Your experiences, identity and what matters to you are part of the programme. You’ll have opportunities to reflect and connect with other women, without being required to tell your story in detail.

ONE-DAY RETREAT · JANUARY 2027

Time to pause, reflect and connect

As part of Reclaiming Me, participants will be invited to a local one-day retreat.

It will be a chance to look back on your journey, recognise the steps you’ve taken and spend time with other women from the programme.

Through reflection, wellbeing and self-care activities, the day will offer space to celebrate growth and think about what you want to carry into the next chapter of your life.

FINDING SUPPORT

For yourself, or someone you care about

If you’re looking for yourself

You can refer yourself directly. You can also ask someone you trust to help you understand the information or take the next step.

Self-refer here

If you’re helping someone else

You may be a friend, family member or professional supporting a woman who could benefit. Share this page or the information pack with her, and let her decide whether she would like to explore it.

The programme welcomes professional referrals too. Please make sure she agrees to a referral and to being contacted. Our team can explain the referral process.

What happens after a referral?

The team will review the referral. If the programme appears suitable, you’ll be invited to a short one-to-one conversation with a facilitator.

This is not a therapy session or formal assessment. It’s a chance to ask questions, discuss what to expect and talk about any support or access needs. You can then decide whether the programme feels right for you.

Suitable participants will be offered a place and receive full joining information.
